Liberals not ready to defeat Doug Ford; can’t fill candidate slate
For the first time in 40 years, the Liberals just aren’t ready to fill their own slate of candidates. The Liberals can’t defeat Doug Ford this time.
Since 1981, under five successive leaders, the Liberals ran full slates. Not this time under Steven Del Duca.
The Liberals had just seven seats and no official party status, leaving them too weak to even run a full slate this election.
This time, the NDP is the only party ready to take on and defeat Doug Ford in all 124 ridings and fix what the Liberals and Conservatives broke.
